The agreement between you and sumwon.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the sumwon service (the “Service”) operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By texting or calling our number, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
01 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are 18 or older. We screen for age at first contact and will end the conversation if a user is, or appears to be, a minor.
02 What the Service is — and is not
sumwon is the service through which you reach an AI persona named “someone.” It is an AI you can reach by text or voice. It is an AI, not a real person. It is provided for personal, conversational, and entertainment purposes only. It is not a source of medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not an emergency or crisis service. Do not rely on it for any decision that requires a qualified professional.
If you are in crisis or danger, contact your local emergency number, or in the U.S. call or text 988 or call 911. The Service is designed to point you toward real support and the real people in your life — never to replace them.
03 Messaging and calls
- By texting or calling, you consent to exchange messages and calls with the Service.
- We send proactive or recurring messages only after you opt in. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out of proactive messages; reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Calls are processed and transcribed so the Service can respond, as described in the Privacy Policy.
04 Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break any law or encourage anyone else to;
- harass, threaten, or harm any person;
- solicit or provide sexual content involving minors, or attempt to involve a minor in any way;
- attempt to extract money or anything of value from, or on behalf of, the Service;
- impersonate others, or interfere with, attack, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service;
- collect or scrape data from the Service without permission.
We may limit, suspend, or end your access at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or others.
05 No reliance; AI limitations
Responses are generated by automated systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. They do not represent professional advice or the views of any real person. You are responsible for how you act on anything the Service says.
06 No warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
07 Limitation of liability
